We've seen great success in sites that came to us because they took a hit. We focused on cleaning up the on-page and off-page and then we built new content and ramped up social media. We are seeing excellent progress when the focus is on all of those areas and not just focused on one particular area.
Social media is a touchy subject - so many people don't like it, or don't have time for it or have dabbled in and not seen results quick enough. Social media is here to stay and it's creating all kinds of new opportunity for companies that learn to implement it properly. Stay tuned for more information on social media and how to truly make it work for you.
Right now, I want you to do two things ...
1. Look at your traffic and see if you've taken a hit that you haven't been able to recover from.
2. If you have, take one of the actions above to recover - sooner rather than later. If you haven't been hit, take a moment to be very grateful and then review your site and marketing practices to ensure you aren't doing anything that will cause you to take a hit in the future.
